Description
And I do mean street. Not exactly the Seattle Arboretum.
Just one of the several routes I take during my walks, captured 3/30/16 @ 8:37 am, about .75 of a mile from home.
And this was on a business day, when there's tons of traffic in the city.

Great perspective and very great shot Harry !!!

Well you couldn't say that it was rush hour here, but then you wouldn't want it to be busy when you are taking a walk. It could do with some greenery to soften those sharp lines too. ☺

Great pov capture.

There sure doesn't seem to be much happening there at the moment, how eerie! I wonder where everyone was? Excellent capture of the absence of humanity, Harry, it makes that long stretch of street look even longer!

how in the world did you find this so abandoned---at 8:30 in the a.m.??? This was a Wednesday, not a Sunday---yet we only see a distant car. Another wonderful shot of your city in its most naked and forlorn aspect, with more fine light/shadow contrasts, and grit and grain in the nearer portions of road and sidewalk, and a forlorn light all around, climaxing in the white light on the left, and the deep blues on the right. And a midwest-like flatness throughout, with another fine piece of angled perspective. First rate urban shot. It truly looks like the abandoned industrial outskirts of Chicago, with the prairie beckoning just a few miles away. Terrific work. I'd have never guessed this was in LA.
