Description
Captured 4/6/16 @ 8:34 am, next to a church, next to a strip mall, about .70 of a mile from home.
The first black hearse I've posted. All previous models were white. I believe this model is a Cadillac, the iconic manufacturer that is really into this stuff.
And, if I keep taking photos of these vehicles, does it mean that I'm REhearsing?
Finally, people are just dying to get a ride in one of these beauties. Unfortunately, it's a one way trip, and expensive.

OK. Who are you hiding back there? Joke aside, these must be quite cheap after the funeral director decides to get a new one - because WHO would want an old hearse? Well, back in 1968 I saw a hearse stop at San Francisco State College and out tumbled some 12 hippie students! What a surprise, and a good laugh! A hippie-mobile! Nice photo of this exclusive form of transportation. Keep up the good work! :-)

Excellent captures of this flash hearse, we only have black ones here, I have not seen a white one. ☺

I rarely see hearses anymore for some reason, maybe 1 or 2 in the last several years. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing... Super captures of this lovely final limo, Harry.

When you first posted this, I was gonna say "bada-bing, bada-boom!" (To your string of hearse jokes.) Who let Henny Youngman out? (I have no puns to add, so yours have the day. I'd heard the last ones, but "re-hearsing" is totally new. Good one! You gotta take these on the road...)
These are beautiful shots, despite the dark subject material. Beautiful light and reflections, and wipe-outs from the intense light (I love how the light half-obliterates the surfaces in spots), all well composed against your back and foregrounds (we expect this from you without thinking), and the top shot could be a different place altogether compared to the bottom two. Very strong light and dark contrasts: These are beautiful shots. I never knew that hearses could be beautiful until I came to your gallery. A fine trio of shots, Harry. It's easy to forget what they're for, when one basks in the shots themselves. (I still can't come up with a pun...I tried, but they're too pitiful to put into print...)
