Description

I have had this Orange -winged Amazon Parrot since he was six months old, and he is about 35 now, He was hatched locally so is not a wild import, and I am now starting to consider options for him should I die before he does, which is very likely. I have been given the name of a specialist vet who knows all the right bird people, so I will be exploring that. The two parrot zoos I had in mind are unfortunately no longer re-homing birds.

A very handsome fellow and rather distinguished looking. I don't know if you have friends or family who get along with Byron. I promised my friend from Canterbury that I would take her cat Molly should anything happen to her but Molly passed a year ago and Pauling followed just a few months ago.

Beautifully capture. An interesting subject you brought up. One never thinks about something like this when one is younger, because life goes on forever!

What a beautiful friend you have, I had three of this, but when my kid was born, the pediatrician told us that we must choice between parrots or a healty kid! (Sometimes I tell my wife that maybe we chose badly)

What a handsome fella, good to know he will be well looked after. My friend has a parrot, she fascinates me as she talks so well & answers your questions.

What a gorgeous bird. I bet he loves you very much. If you pass before he does he might pine. I had a cockatiel who pulled her feathers out when her parakeet friend passed. I hope Byron will get a chance to adjust to someone new before you die.

He is a very handsome fellow. That's not a fun proposition, considering what to do for one's "children". I'm sure you'll figure out a good place for him, but hopefully you won't need it for quite some time yet!
