Description

I want to my furkid sitters to pick up a the baby. While I was there, I happened to meet a new friend. I have never seen a toad this color. I think he is very adorable in his red coat. I have wanted to try my hand at photographing a toad and today was the day.

Ooooh! Looks like he's running a high fever. I've never seen this color on a toad, either. As for the photo, good job! And that it sat still long enough for you to get the photo. Apparently it wasn't scared by the big black "eye" (the lens). I was about to wonder if you had gone into rehabilitating creatures like this, but feel relieved you don't have that on your shoulders, too. At 4 inches, that's big. I wonder what it eats? Keep up the good work! More toad photos in the offing? :-)

My rating - 7!

He is very handsome but not a favourite of mine. I used to have a really bad phobia for frogs & toads until I saw a hypnotist.

What a stunner! I hope that colour doesn't mean he is poorly. We have a frog disease here called red leg, a bacterial infection. But it's much more likely to be a natural variation..
