Description
One of the bedrooms in the Hughes house, a historic home located down the road from the Cape Blanco lighthouse. I rarely create frames for my photos because 1) I prefer to let the photos stand on their own & 2) I think they're usually kind of gimmicky. But I also believe in breaking rules occasionally (that's what rules are made for, right?), so I used a frame filter called "Dirty Viewfinder" from the Perfect Effects plugin for this shot to give it more of a vintage look...
Info from Wikipedia:
"The Patrick Hughes House, also known as Hughes Ranch and the Historic Hughes House, is a historic Queen Anne-style house built in 1898 on Cape Blanco in the U.S. state of Oregon. The Hughes family owned over 2,000 acres and operated a dairy farm on Cape Blanco.
It is now operated as a historic house museum by the Cape Blanco Heritage Society.
The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980."

An excellent capture and I like the color you have used. The beds were very short in those days weren't they. ☺

Great orangey effect in this quasi Victorian shot, with a headboard that won't quit. The footlocker (hope chest?) at the foot of the bed reminds me of my old Army days. I like antique stuff like this.
