Description
Yes, bet you've never heard or seen this before..
And neither had I..
This man, a Frenchman called Fauvel, was designing and flying 'Flying Wing' gliders years before the Vulcan, the US or and Delta aircraft..
The Shuttleworth Collection owned a large collection of historic gliders, this is one.. Allot are Pre-War.. They all still fly on good days such as this.. And this is fully aerobatic still..
More shots if you'd like.
Rob
P.S. Shot of Comet cockpit on the way..

WOW! THE way to go, Rob! This is unbelievable, yet, like the bumble bee, it flies! I wonder how they got it up in the air - a tow line? I also wonder what is its wing span and length? And here it's climbing nearly vertically! Thanks - this is really unusual! Also, not many museums that host gliders, especially not unusual ones like this! Keep up the good work! :-)
My rating - GUESS! Over a 6 at least!

That. Is. Really. COOL! I'm still not 100% convinced it's not some mad design from a radio control airplane modeler... going to go google that one.
Great photo & find!
