I found a beautiful TRICK doing this render; When you have only one computer and want to render a complex scene normal doing is put the scene to render before going to bed. Alas! if the scene is too complex when the next day you go back to your computer you have 7 or 8 iterations only. When a scene is stopped DS saves an image in the temp folder under the name of "r" Sometimes if the computer is clogged is better to save it directly from there. But that "r.jpg" file disappears the right moment you open another instance of DS or close the original. Friday night I put this image to render. Saturday morning I found quality was not enough but I needed the computer so I stopped it; Once done I went to temp folder and copied r.jpg from there into a "normal folder". Then I minimized DS and worked in things I had to do. In the afternoon I wanted to play with DS so I opened another DS instance and modelled, renamed, prepared a new different character etc. Before going to bed I saved and closed what I had done in the evening and called the minimized DS instance and this render window. Went to where I had saved "r.jpg" copied it and pasted it again in the temp folder. Then and only then went to the rendering DS window and clicked "Resume" And it worked :happybounce:
