Description

I was gardening most of yesterday, and as always I vary my activities to avoid stress on any particular part of my ageing body. I had a sudden idea that I could store some panes of glass against the fence, and moved all the small ones without incident. But when I decided to start to clear a place for the larger ones, my supervisor suddenly went beserk, screaming in 'Robin' "What the hell do you think you're doing? Watch OUT! " Just in time, a catastrophe was averted and once I had replaced the blue tarpaulin under which this lies I was forgiven and peace was restored. It is about waist height on top of some plastic roofing sheets. They haven't deserted, I suppose because they know me so well. They would be hand tame if I bought some mealworms, which I may do once the babies hatch.

Wow! what a wonderful find and just in time save. Good thing your supervisor was watching. In the USA the robins I was familiar with layed blue eggs. I am so glad the parents did not desert the nest. You sure got a great shot of this lovely little nest full of beautiful eggs. Thanks for sharing.

What a find. I think a good nickname for you would be Mother Nature. Hopefully you will be able to get some shots of the little ones without disturbing them.
