Now that we've been there, I can tell you how these formations were made! Not that you would care, geology not being your thing, but I found it a fascinating and beautiful place.

Tara can tell you how these formations were made? Ha. I can tell you how they were made. Someone put sponge candy on the beach, let it sit there for a week, dried it, scooped out more holes, then covered it over with a combo of sand and powdered sugar. Top that, tk! This is a moon-like capture, with real detail, and lots of swirls in the background. And the water looks almost like glaciers. Fine composition/crop too. I envy that you and tara have seen this place and places like it. A beautiful capture, Claude.
I'm skipping after every 3d or 4th image, only to get closer to the present. It's NOT a comment on the pics I skipped over. (Ie, I didn't skip them because I didn't like them. Quite to the contrary)
