Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

Looks very precariously perched up there! Excellent photo, Jean! Makes me think of all the houses built here in the states that are either sliding into the sea, sliding off the sides of hills and mountains or being buried in mud! I guess our continent is still busy shaping itself and we are stupid when we build in unstable locations. But tell that to the realtors! LOL.

Unfortunately, there is also here a lot of buildings that are built in dangerous areas now ... it's not like as for the castles in the medieval period!

Love the ruins indeed. Only one can imagine the stories for this area through the centuries it could tell if it could speak.. looks like some renovation going on. Love your shot and hope you have more shots like this, Jean.

It is wise to keep the history. Today at my age I enjoy it as you do. Many years ago in school I wasn't interested, because all was turned into years and where the battles were. I also think that a movie serie Games of Thrones makes us aware of those times. Great picture to learn that we take the past with us.

superbe prise de vue !!
