Description

Captured 4/28/16 @ 11:52 am, in the parking lot of the beautiful La Mirada Regional Park in beautiful La Mirada, California. I don't know the species. Reminds me of a Jacaranda. ZOOM for better detail.

I don't know the tree specie either, but that's no surprise. If you and Denise didn't know, or Nancy (pauling), then I don't know who would. It's a really striking tree capture, because it covers nearly the whole shot, and the mix of green with those purple flowers (they look like lavender from here), make it a big special canopy. Your crop at the car line makes the sky dominate beautifully. (And I like how the cars provide a 'frame' on the bottom.) We can see similar trees all along the right side. You did this beautiful tree proud.
