Description

The Baron and his sister inspect the final repairs to the old castle on their daily walk. They are briefly interrupted by all the soldiers marching by on their daily drill. The King returns to inspect the repairs as well and is very pleased with his engineers and stone masons! They have done an excellent job of repairing the old Baron's castle, even making several improvements to the general outlay of the fortress. And not a moment too soon either. Not more than a week after the completion, the enemy on the border tries to invade the kingdom. They haven't done their reconnaissance work very well, still thinking that the old castle is nearly abandoned. They sure were in for a big surprise when they met the large contingent of soldiers the King had stationed there. But they were almost more impressed with the sturdy reconstruction that was done to the castle! It will be a long time before they try to mount another invasion! M4, M3 and V4 characters.
