Tara..., Know the beach is your favorite place! And May the 11th only rolls around once a year. So here is a big beach scene from Newport, Oregon just a couple of days ago. Enjoy Hon :-) Maybe one of these days we can actually live at a place like this instead of just visiting.

Now that is a beach! Unlike those narrow strips of imported sand we have in Chicago...yep, we import our sand from...well...sandy places. I love the mood: it's so crisp and spacious and it's the perfect birthday present! The pebbles really add something to this shot as well and I wonder how much they move when the surf comes in and goes back out. I have yet to visit that part of the world, but shots like this are definitely a draw to get out thataway! This is a really refreshing image.
