Description

At our bi-weekly poker game last night (I've been playing with the the same set of guys for about 8 years now), my friend Peter (he's the one in the plaid shirt) brought his new Tesla X for us to check out. He put in his deposit almost 3 years ago & it finally arrived a couple of weeks ago. After admiring it there in the driveway for a few minutes, he took us for a short ride. I'm not really a car guy, but this is a very impressive, state of the art electric vehicle - very sleek, elegant, futuristic design & fast (he took us from a standstill to almost 80 mph on a flat straight section of country road). Out of my price range, but I expect that many of it's design features will be incorporated into less pricey mainstream cars in the near future... Please zoom.

My brother has one on order. He test drove one a few months ago, and was particularly impressed with its self-driving capabilities. I'm waiting for that fully self-driving Google car to come out. Imagine how far I'll be able to get on my own, which I can't do now! (Poor depth perception keeps me off the freeways and off two-lane 50-mph roads.)
