I did a small amount of work with Poser way back when it was new. Honestly, I was amazed by what you could do with just that program and the stock characters. I did a bit of illustration and posted to Renderosity before it was called Renderosity. It was "something" 3D, I think...LOL Anyway, those images are long lost to the server.
Recently, I was traveling and decided to try my hand with the new Daz Studio software. I was floored by just how many options are now available for creating with 3D models. So, here I am...once again playing with characters. My renders are primarily tests of all the new and cool props, morphs, shaders, and environments. I get the most enjoyment by creating new characters based on either the Genesis 2 or 3 models. Hopefully, I'll have some ready for sale soon!
As always, thanks for looking!

Thanks! Big kudos to Raiya for the fantastic morph and skin on Chiyo. The HD details are terrific. I did some further morphing and of course, painting to the skin. I also added the claws from EJ Atsuko morphs. The horns were changed to glass via the Iray shaders. The leather corset and panties were changed to the crystal shader. It turned out to be a really nice rose beige color when combined with the leather black.
The hair is Desideria hair designed for Gen 2. But, it works just as well on Gen 3. I did some morphing to make it more of a close fitting Asian style hair. Then, I couldn't resist doing the "Bride with White Hair" thing. :)

Very well done. The skin texture is excellent - great spec.

Thanks so much...I've just begun learning how it all works. Specular is set at 70 - Metal Flakes weight is at .030. Usually, if I go any higher on the Metal Weight, it looks way too shiny. If I don't want any of the sweat sheen, I'll take that number down to .010. Just a tiny hint will really give the skin a nice dry glow.
I did some work with Poser about 10 years ago, then did other things for awhile. When I started this up again recently, I was blown away by just how much software and available models and assets have improved and flourished.
I dialed up the expression on this girl to try and get a soft concentration. From the main camera angle, she looks more pensive. When I did the test render from this angle, I couldn't help but think that she looks very real and inviting. That tells you just how much a change in camera angle can affect the overall feel of an expression. So, I got lucky with this render. ;) So, much of what I end up doing well seems to be fortunate happenstance.
Thanks again!
