Cool capture and perspective.

It looks like a really peaceful area, you live in, Harry. It all seems so clean there. Must be a good place to live in. A beautiful shot. :)

I just finished a bunch of work, and I wanted to do a few more of your images before I went to bed. I'll still do another long session soon, btw---this is just a short visit for now.
I love your barren street shots. One would think LA was an abandoned town, or that it was just a strip on the way to the desert. Your pov isn't all that low, but somehow it feels low: It's the way the street angles upwards, and the long perspective lines...I always envision LA skies as sunny, but I realize you have muddled skies like anyone else. Your whole pic, here, feels overcast and sleepy. Understand, it's sharp very clear: But the light is sleepy. A washed out light. And it's so flat---one would never dream there are mountains nearby. Also, the big red curb is a standout, as are the staccato white dividers (in comparison to their settings). With that kind of bare tree off center, it's a pretty barren place. This has primal beauty, and I love this series.
