Does it want to hold hand? It looks that way :-) Super beautiful shot :)

I'll do Gothic Tree Roots #1 after this. (I'm skipping around.) This series is dark and very sharp. You have a deep sepia feeling here, with a sheen. It shines. The grass is almost speckled; and the tree root has a gorgeous burnt tone to it, with beautiful detail and presence. And your angle is expressive, because of the varying diagonals---from wall to sidewalk---and the cross angle of the root. So the trunk is the big vertical accent here. I was so impressed with these when you started the series...and is that brick wall back there---is that the subject of another recent shot ("Brick Texture")? They're both about a mile from your home...A very fine piece of work, Harry!
