Good photo of the cramped conditions on a Fletcher (or any other class) destroyer. Imagine taking out an appendix under these conditions. Or worse, in mid battle with shells battering the ship, doing amputations and other vital life saving surgery. Not for the faint of heart or organization people. Keep up the good work. I'd love more internal photos from the KIDD. :-)

Not sure how old this one is but I imagine it is pretty old because I can not imagine that much glass on a modern ship.

Wow - this is just amazing! Even my doctor's office seems vastly spacious by comparison. A great look at what the ship's doctor has to work with.
