As we go about this Memorial Day weekend to our picnics, parties, amusement parks, etc. ... NEVER FORGET the price that was paid for you to enjoy even these simple freedoms.

My Great-grandfather is buried at the Saint Laurent Cemetery in France.

Thank you for this stirring tribute.

The peace lily is a nice touch.

I'm afraid we will be called back again thanks to the self-destructive liberal policies which are destroying Europe as surely as any war would do. I refer to the insane "refugee" policies: no good deed goes unpunished.

A sterling scene, displaying those who have fallen, in this dedication to Memorial Day, Sunrise. I didn't know that they observed the holiday in the Netherlands. Please don't miss my similar posting for tomorrow.

the first time for me to see a military cemetery was at Manila,Philippines and to say the least it was a eye opener to grasp just how many soldiers died in WWII.about 700 Americans and Filipinos died at one time after being gassed at Fort Bonifacio

a sombering sight. thanks for sharing this
