Once again, you've captured the uncaring ease of a young person. She's looking at us, but not really looking at us. She seems almost put-out that she has to acknowledge us. (énervé, en colère, énervé par---I don't know the exact translation for "put out"). You painted her head with a slight tilt, and you gave her sunglasses---so we don't see her eyes: You captured a real young adult! And yet she has grace and beauty, and defiance.

I love how you painted her hair, with waves of passion-red. And blue for her jeans (or skirt). With a simple design on her shirt/blouse (is that a woman?) In the background, more of your fast, free depictions of your beloved city, with the Tour Eiffel and a simple Parisian bridge. A wonderfully witty and fine painting, evoking one of the many personalities of Paris. Terrific painting, Yves.
