Hello, I am Prince Tolin. As the oldest, I was heir to the throne until our dad decided to name my little brother heir. There’s been a lot of speculation as to why Dad chose Emeton over me. Some say I broke the treaty law and slept with Nambi before we were married. (I didn’t). Others say Emeton was a poor prince-general. (He wasn’t). The list goes on. Mirimar keeps track for us and writes it down. It used to bother us but now we read the list when we need a laugh. No, it’s not because I used to call Pt’this ‘Pifis’ when I was three. Dad had his reasons and Emeton and I both agree with him. No one needs to worry what the reason is. I’m the husband to the beautiful Nambi and father to three wonderful children, Chittoy, Shuli, and Chirin. Our son, Chittoy is a few months older than Remmy. Our girls we adopted a few years back. All three are great kids, and I’m quite proud of them. Nambi is an excellent mother and has raised them well. I’m the prince-general. I’m head of the army. My predecessor was a bit lax in his duties and let the army deteriorate. Thank goodness we weren’t attacked then. I’m still working to weed out the corruption, but it’s improved. I’ve had help from soldiers like Miklin, Merton, Crito, Jev and even Solvnor. I don’t care what Emeton thinks of Solvnor. He wasn’t to blame. It likely would have happened if I were her bodyguard. But that’s over with now. Emeton feels Lyra may attack some day, and he wants us to be ready. My nephew Janta shared with me some concerns he had regarding who truly destroyed the old capital. His concerns seem valid but who could be more dangerous than the immortals? Who posed so big a threat that we worked with our enemies to defeat them? I’m not talking about working with a few trolls or even immortals in general, but people like Nor’than, who has attacked us. And why was it obscured in the history books? Who would try to hide that and why?
