Description
Captured 5/1/16, at the beautiful Victorian Fair, held on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Homestead Museum in beautiful City of Industry, California.
I wish that there had been a more sedate background.

You wrote: "I wish that there had been a more sedate background." I fully sympathize. This is truly a studio shot, the pose is perfect for the subject (and the guy!), and you've got other linear harmonies here too---the man is in line with the tree next to him, the wheels behind him 'meet' his arm in the right place (though they're not touching), the frontal 'wall' of the man is in sweet contrast with the angles of his cycle and sidewalk and bench, etc. But you had to contend with the din of the background, and its light too. You did a first rate job with what nature gave you. Beautifully posed and composed. And as a portrait of a cyclist, you got him standing with great pride and directness. Love the light on his outfit too.
