Description

It was a clear day and the crew and I were cruising at 12,000 feet, lining up the bomb run.. The enemy airfield was in sight.. We know the Sunderland !!!a was new, just arrived in the 'hanger' and had no upgrades and if a fighter spotted us we'd be in trouble but the height should be good.. Wrong!!! Once more, thuds were heard and the gunners opened fire, I tried to hold the run steady.. The words 'hit' showed, the gunners were causing damage maybe we'd last.. I pressed, release, and threw the aircraft to the left, then poo happened the engine cut.. 'Oh bugger!' I though, that's it.. A fighter went by smoke trailing, that's cool I grinned.. THEN, the wingtip went and this happened.. And you know what? That plane behind was a Dauntless! The shame LOL Rob

I always have a dance setting up trims to fly hands off and then running about to the gunner positions to track the attackers and shoot them down. Looks like you need to retrim!!

Phew! I thought first it was an act gone wrong at Duxford, or something like that! Then, of course, it HAD to be the Thunder game! Man, that's so realistic it's becoming difficult to tell which is reality and which is a computer image. But man is this fun! Keep up the good work! Even more fun if interspersed with real Duxford photos. :-)
