OOOOH...I haven't been round these parts in a dog's age!
Been busy folks....very busy...so gallery uploads will come as and when I can manage it!. :)
BIOAside from the usual images, this page will be used to provide USEFUL stuff in the form of tutorials etc for Lightwave and Photoshop.
So any up and coming LWers amongst you who would rather get the software to serve YOUR purpose rather than the software dictating to you what your artwork will look like...
So sign the guestbook by all means, leave questions etc, I check back here regularly and will help as much as poss.

Terrific character work. Now how the heck did you do the hair and the beard? :o)

Thanks Moe, there is also a similar hair texture on the Julian model...It's blazingly simple. I modelled the hair/beard quite low detail (as it is in the pic); then deformed them around so the beard was flat in the Z axis and the Hair was flat in the Y axis; I swapped states so the hair & beard in their final states were an endomorph of the flattened ones; with a fractal noise procedural stretched across like grooves...applying the morph bend the hair into shape and took the grooves with it...voila!!!

Only gripe I have is the shoulder blades on his back seem small and not shaped well (but I know how hard that is). otherwise it'd great stuff as usual.
