Hello All!
This cautious grey squirrel was captured last month at a local wildlife reserve near Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Grey squirrels, originally from North America, were released in the UK by 19th century landowners. They are now very common and widespread. They are extremely successful and have replaced our native red squirrels over most of the UK.
I have slightly altered the levels here and boosted the saturation a bit as well as a little dodge and burn and the addition of a subtle vignette to help accentuate the squirrel.
Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued!
Carl

Looks like one of my neighbors. A charming capture. Well done!

high quality capture and a beautiful rodent, I never understood why people would want to transport animals to another island/continent. where they destroy existing wildlife or fail to adapt . not counting all the animals that hop a ride in freight
