Description

[best viewed full sized for true colours] Hello All! This evil-looking crocodile image was taken at the Crocodile Park Torremolinos, Malaga, in Spain whilst on holiday in the Costa Del Sol two months ago. This crocodile park features over 200 African crocodiles and is home to the largest crocodile currently in Europe named "Big Daddy" who weighs in at over 600 kg. It was a relatively inexpensive trip with fantastic photographic potential and I even got to hold a baby crocodile (a two foot long, one year-old croc)! I have slightly altered the levels here and boosted the saturation a bit as well as a little dodge and burn and a high-pass sharpening filter due to the fact that I had my ISO far too low for the focal length (the light was too bright to be able to see my camera settings at this stage of the tour). Oh I don't think he's malevolent, Carl. Probably just laughing at something you said. A great shot and I agree with Andrew, would not want to be his dentist.
