Some of you may remember this one & the next one from a few years ago, but I reworked them & am re-posting. Taken at Elephant Hill Trail in Canyonlands...

Reworked? Are you the one responsible for those holes? The stratification is more obvious here. I wonder what the rock composition is in each stratum. And I'm also wondering about potential fossils (unless water turbulence was so strong whatever body caught in it were ground to atoms!). Keep up the good work! :-)
PS - Kitty, my cat, has sat a good while looking at this photo - didn't want me to leave it for some reason. The colors, maybe?

Wow....all it needs is some special sauce! But in all seriousness, I always wanted to hike Canyonlands but never had the chance, so your pictures are a delightful and give me an idea of what I would've seen.
