Description

Basically the same as the Sphinx Gate from Die unendliche Geschichte (The Neverending Story) - except these Sphinxes are the final gate that Atreyu must confront in order to find the cure for the deadly illness of the Childlike Empress. I used the UV Light Shaders in this & the UV Lights to make the creatures glow. I also used for the Sphinxes podium - the Strange Substances Shaders from DAZ3D.com. I will admit that I created the rest of the background in Photoshop, because no matter which winter scene that I had used in DAZ, nothing looked right when the UV lighting turned the snow purple. Instead, I just decided to make my own unique and stylized backdrop that works with the ethereal nature of the Southern Oracle in both the book and the movie.
