Captured 6/22/16 @ 11:19 am, at a nearby grimy tire and rim outfit. While waiting for a new rim to be installed on my left front wheel, I noticed this gal sitting outside in the hot sun, I assume waiting for her newly purchased tires to be installed, so I thought I'd just stroll over and make some conversation. She hadn't moved at all since I first saw her and I was wondering how she could risk a sunburn on that lovely alabaster skin. Anyway, I walked over to her, but she refused to look up and acknowledge my presence. I said hi, complimented her on her new tires and asked if she got a real good deal. But she still refused to talk or lookup, perhaps thinking I was making a pass at her. Befuddled, it was only then that I realized I had been trying to converse with an android, or mannequin - depending on your mindset - and a mute one at that. She looked so real and sentient, and even seemed like she had a stomach ache. In any case, at least she didn't mind having her picture taken.
