Description

Just back yesterday from a week away in Portland, Mt. Rainier National park & the Oregon coast. Mt. Rainier was beautiful, but lots of snow on most of the trails. This is Tipsoo Lake, where we headed on our first day in the park. We had planned to take a loop trail hike that started at the lake, but it turned out that the trail was closed due to snow. We walked out a short way & then had to quit because the snow was too deep & hard to walk on. So instead we headed for the southern part of the park, which is where my next photos were taken...
