I love your title---like "besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" And lol, Andrea. With all those nooks and crannies? Fuggeddabbouddit. Wonderful detail, and you brought us on another descent, from way atop all the way down to the floor. (And a great crack in the ceiling!) Really, this is like a small city---it's just packed. (I mean no disrespect to religion, but I would pay to see a statue---in one of these niches---of Jackie Gleason. Or the owners of a local diner. Or your next door neighbor. With the name plaque below. Just for a day...) A big descent of a shot, and I love all the detail.

(Speaking of Jackie Gleason, I just saw an old Gilbert Gottfried bit, on YTube, where he did Jackie Gleason as "Rick" from Casablanca. It's worth the 3 or 4 minutes. With Gottfried shouting, "oh, you're gettin' on that plane, alice! You're gettin' on the plane! Bang Zoom!" I have no idea why I got off on that, it's got nothing to do with this altarpiece...)
