Btw, the story of that Christ statue was a wonderful detail. This has an almost toy-like feeling. You captured the contrasts of purple and brown and reddish brown, etc; and the statuary has an almost doll-like feeling. It's beautiful. And it would be hard to pray, rather than walk up to this huge altarpiece and stare at it for a while, a massive dollhouse, almost. It has a folklore feeling to it too. Wonderful details.
