Description

There is a certain mood over the Rhine such an early morning. As usual I couldnt sleep, so I was sitting in my bed with a pillow to rest my back and just enjoyed this lovely morning view, before anybody in the boat were awake, but the Mate. Was thinking about which wonders the new day would give us. I was really glad, we payed the extra to have such a view from the upper level. And the engine was purring peacefully a piece away from our room. Life was good. Have a beautiful day/evening. We had sun but much wind most of the day. Now we just had rain and that brought the wind down to a better level. 19C outside now. Thank you for your visit. :)

Oh yes, this atmospheric capture has gothic and mystery Hound of the Baskervilles ambiance written all over it, Helle. Loverly dark mist effects in these cool snaps. And how come you couldn't sleep? Was the engine too loud?

How incredibly lovely; I know what you mean, my first morning on the houseboat vacation in France some years back I sat up in the hatch window and just watched the sunrise and listened to the French birds...it was magical!
