Description

Out of the mist came this fantastic and sooo long River Barge so well loaded with goods. It is so exciting to see these sometimes 100 meters long barges. The owners are living on them with their cars and their homes. AMAZING. Wild Amazing to me. Sitting here and write about it, makes the whole trip coming back. I am smiling now. :))) Have a beautiful day. This morning began with lovely sunshine and less wind. Not bad at all. Thank you for your visit :)

Living on the river barges is an old "tradition". The same was in early America, before transportation companies took over the river traffic. When I see barges like this, I wonder what is in those containers? Keep up the good work! :-)

Fantastic photographs, I like especially the mood you captured here. That's really a big barge, it is indeed a size larger than the barges here on the Neckar river.
