It's incredible what is happening in this world. Last night I followed the news in Nice though social media and thought by myself, how a free boulevard where thousands of spectators were watching the fireworks on the 14thof July. Not only a feast of joy but also in pain will this day in future go on. The problem is, we can see it but don't have the opportunity to do something about it. When we see the new leaders in the world to come I feel depressed by people like Trump, the new foreign affair minister of England, in our own country the Netherlands Wilders and in France La Pen. They are for years now throwing already oil on the fire of this world. On each corner you can't be save, because people can grap easy a gun and kill a lot of people in a split second. I think your flowers Jean-C are there for us all, given by you for us all to the victims of last night. Writing this I only can think of the song from John Lennon and Yoko Ono: "All we do say: Just give peace a chance" I wonder how this can be done, knowing that 3 up to 6 million Kalashnikovs are somewhere around Europe on the black market. Week after week we see families ruined by gunfire. When do we grow up and make a new rule for the second amendment that everyone can carry a gun, when we all know that the world has changed so much. I grieve for those, that lost their lives! Thank you for sharing your flowers!

Until hatred is replaced with hope, we will continue to mourn. I will pray as I have before that these people who commit these atrocities will open their eyes and understand that life is a wonderful gift!!

It's very sad that we live in a world where terrorist attacks have become the new normal. How do we end this cycle of violence? I don't know what the answer is, but I do know that stoking more hate & fear will only make things worse...

It is horrifying the atrocities that are happening to the innocents of the world. I swear we regressed to a more primitive state.
