Description
The curtain falls on the scene and the last thing we see is Josette’s shapely derriere as she exits the drawing room..
In case you are utterly confused, as well you might be, Hugo is a night club owner and father of the plump and pretty Mathilde who started this scene in her boudoir. Josette is Mathilde’s cousin on her mother’s side who just was hired as a chorus girl at the club. Denis who appeared to be a housebreaker is some kind of detective here on an errand that we haven’t figured out yet.
The stage set, a drawing room, was designed for a French style farce. The problem with making up a farce is that once you get started it keeps getting more complicated creating new sub plots that should get resolved later on.
(I believe the exposed bit of Josette’s bottom requires the nudity flag. That seems to be a sensitive area.)
