Description

Stonehenge is believed to have been constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC, but no-one knows what this fabulous site had been designed for. I went to Stonehenge a decade ago and was smitten by the place. Stonehenge is also for me the highly symbolical place where Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles slept for the last time as a free woman, before being arrested by the police...
