Description

A British jet of the early era of the jet airliner. I like these old aircrafts, because they look all so individual. The Trident was designed by De Havilland. After De Havilland was integrated into Hawker Siddeley, the development was finished by Hawker Siddeley. It was a short and medium-range airliner. It was the first T-tail rear-engined three-engined jet airliner to be designed. 117 Tridents had been produced when production ceased in 1978. And again it was too special tailored to BAE specifications and too expensive in comparison to it's competitor the Boeing 727.

...and I sure remember this, though I only saw them in photographs advertising BEA. I really liked their tail symbol - arrow point Union Jack. Nice render and compositing with the background. Keep up the good work! :-)
