I am an musician and artist. My musical mainstays are Blues, Rock, and Country, Between the three I stay fairly busy recording and playing live performances. I have been playing since the 60's so I have had a rather lengthy career.
As an artist I seem to be mostly into FANTASY ART with side trips into MOOD and SURREAL ART. I use POSER, VUE, BRYCE, and CARARRA. Photoshop is my tool of choice as a post production tool, and rarely do any of my pieces escape from Photoshop untouched. Mixed media works intrigue and challenge me. I love to see pieces come together.

Really enjoy the b&w work, Dag. She is a sweetheart. She has tremendous hair.

B&W is hard to pull off, especially when we as artists are tempted by all the pretty colors our vendors provide. You did it well here. One thing I particularly like about this render is how it jogs my memory back to a certain style of publicity photo that was in vogue among dancers and other physical performers years and years ago.

You are so spot on. While I did not design the publicity photo you describe into this render, StudioArtVartanian's Aphana Hair lends itself to that fab look of the 70's. Maybe as far back as even the 60's. Anyone know who Angela Davis was? Her pose goes back even further to classic sculpture seen in the Staglieno Cemetery in Genoa Italy . I think I might post something that shows that next.
