Description
Captured 7/14/16 @ 10:56 am, off of Katella Avenue in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
And postworked for a slight gothic effect, which makes it difficult to tell from Chicago.

Yes, as you mentioned, your postwork does make it feel like a Chicago scene, but the picture is still all your own. I don't know if it's more Chicago than LA or any other city, but I do know that it's a beautiful capture of the geometry and beautiful hues of a ramped walkway to a building. You caught the autumnal buttery-yellows and rusts of the metal---this was shot in July, but those tones feel autumnal to me. And the pinkish undertones of the stone. Against an almost greenish-blue undertone in the wall bricks. And beautiful detail on all the stone and metal: We can see the dots on the metal and stone, throughout. And of course, your signature light-shadow work. Your angle and crop---and the crop puts us right into the pic, with little sky---bring out the collision of the forms, a visual 'fugue'. Beautifully done, Harry.
