Description
Many thanks to the talented engineers, designers & artists at 3Dwarehouse.Sketchup.com for the wonderful model of this 1959 Chevy Impala Hardtop. It was a lot of fun to work with. There were a few problems after translation - I fixed the wheels by adding a wheel rim to accent the body color. There was no car antenna so I modeled one and gave the car (2) I also fixed the turn signals by adding an insert with a bulb and separating the glass lenses ( looks more original now) The body paint was mixed in Paint Shop Pro to look like an original factory version. You did a very good job of "fixing" this model. I'd like to see more models where the inner lights are modelled so a more realistic glass effect can be made.
