Description

Hello Rendosians, I'm back to work and I had a little time for uploading a picture lately. So, this week-end I want to share with you this picture taken in Paris in August. It represents the Luxembourg Palace where our Senate Chamber is. I always marveled at the beauty of the building and the garden around the Palace. But it costs a lot to the citizens. As France (and other european countries) is facing a major economical, social and political crisis, peoples are more and more angry against the "extravaganza" of the government who seems to be deaf and blind. France has more senators than United State, for example and they are very well paid. So, it is told that we should reform our Republic but politicians wouldn't change anything : they have too much privileges...and too much to loose. Thanks for your comments on my last image ! I really enjoyed reading them :-) Have a great Sunday ! Virginie

A beautiful building and a fantastic capture Virginie, and I can understand why you are not too pleased. Plenty of complaints on this side of the Atlantic too, but this is going to change this coming November lol!
