cruising through my photos I found this photo of the bridge I crossed many times on my way to work. it was after a first snowfall and it was so quiet and peaceful that day. I look forward to more snowfalls in this upcoming winter season. I hope you enjoy this!

I'm not certain that I agree with looking forward to the return of the snow. But this is a beautiful scene. I can definitely smell the cold air that is concentrating just below the bridge.

I remember other photos of bridges in your gallery, and I always loved what you did with them. This is so basic, so "bridge-y," it says "bridge" to anyone who's ever walked across them regularly. Wonderful open winter sky, that calm peaceful winter light, the big expanse of snow looking like it doesn't have an imperfection in the world. I love this. Hope you have a good winter again this year. (The way the fall is going in Chicago, I don't think we'll even get to freezing this year.) A must-see, zoomed.
