Description
I stopped and ate lunch in Las Cruces N.M. and while on the Interstate I could see large cumulus clouds above the mountains to the east. I did not catch up to them for about 100 miles. yesterday it poured rain east of El Paso, TX. like crazy and the storm spawned at least one tornado and maybe a second one. I did not see either luckily. the radio said one was in the countryside and the other was at or near Odessa,TX. I stopped to check in in and after eating supper I went to the motel. about 9 pm it started so much lightning and started raining that was blowing almost sidewise . good there was no hail where I was staying
