Description

Here's a closeup of my new lady cyborg. The hair is part of the hat, from Pretty3D...an old V4 prop. And it behaves kinda odd with figures other than V4. Just like the older duster pieces meant for M4/V4 characters.

Thank you. It's awesome how a little re-skinning of some props makes all the difference.

Marvelous image!

I see you use DAZ, a little hint I've discovered... next time you use V4 props (especially hair) on the newer models, don't use autofit. Instead, manually fit it onto the model and parent it into place, also try turning off the smoothing modifier (if it's active). I've used this trick with even the A3 Mitsu hair on G3F/V7, works like a charm.

Oooooh...I'm not sure how to manually fit, but I'll definitely take a gander and see if I can't figure it out. Thanks!

The eyes are looking a bit too flat. A bit more glossy would be better.

Yeah, those didn't work out as well as I'd hoped...I've got one more trick to try on those. They're the "More than Human" prop. I've got other eye props if that fails...I tried tweaking on eye set to create my own with crosshairs...didn't work quite like I thought.

I can see the hair bending in places it shouldn't. Good character- off to do some cyborg law enforcement I guess.

That's the side-effect I was referencing in all the boring text above...I've had same problems with long jackets or skirts, especially ones built for older gen figures, like V4. I may go back and pick a different cowgirl hat and hair and see if I can't make G2 stuff work a little better. The one I tried...I didn't like the hat so much as this one.

Thanks. If I can get the eyes to not be so flat, like rajib mentioned above, I think she'll look more natural. That and put even a subtle expression on her face.
