You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Spot on with our Canberra friends... While they light up their cubans the rest of us get to smoke lawn clippings. Great image :-)

I'll vote for Winston Churchfrog as there is an abundance of mozzies and midgies around our place again...but you knew that !
When you first showed me the capture, I knew you were on a winner, give the boy a cigar....oh, you did already ! LOL
Good to see you posting again with a bit of frivolity to take our minds off the Trump/Clinton BS, all politicians SUCK

Wonderful and cute image and spot-on commentary
What's really sad is that Late President Reagan wouldn't even make the cut in today's Republican Party!

Ha Ha! I love it! Perhaps this is the new "Most interesting frog in the world"? Thanks for the smile.

Hilarious shot - if you were going to animate it, I'd suggest plugging in Edward G. Robinson's voice...

“We shall eat the mozzies and midgies on the beaches, we shall eat them on the landing grounds, we shall eat them in the fields and in the streets, we shall eat them in the hills; we shall never surrender.”
This is a great image. I can hear the strains of “Rule Britannia” as I gaze upon this.

What a sweetheart is this green cigar sir of you, Gitchen. A perfect shot, with exceptional comic details, plus descriptions from you BB**-dear. If it was a photo contest, I would give you the first prize; therefore, nothing but praise about this wonderful whole. With love from a very cold Sweikhuizen.

Love the Churchill takeoff, and that cigar says "Free Cuba". I'll by that too. (Obama at last lifted the age old embargo from the U.S.) I can't tell if this sculpture came like this, or you manipulated the photo, or what---but I wouldn't put it beyond you to create this image, with your sense of creativity and humor. It's wonderful, however it was done. And you did a fine job on the light, the shadow on the frog, the sheen on the ceramic, and the smoke. (Love that smoke.) I like what he's resting on too---like he's on a sandy beach. Well, it may not be 'politic' to give away one's political feelings in a gallery, but I'm gonna say it: I can't stand Trump; Clinton has done many bad things, but she's at least got qualifications and progressive thinking, and a heart. (I was a Sanders supporter, which I know puts me off of the planet, to some people.) But Trump, Omg. There are many find conservative viewpoints, but trump is about trump, not conservative or liberal or anything else. He's a disaster. And the world should be very concerned if he gets elected. So I hope this frog is staring trump in the eye and telling him to get lost. I don't mind criticisms of clinton (though I am voting for her), but trump doesn't belong in the conversation. So I said it, I gave away my loyalties. If all of you, outside the States, are not enjoying our election, at least be happy you're not here: It's unbearable here, these days...
(Brigitte, I just got your letters---I re-did my computer, and my emails were held up. But everything came in, everything; just about a week late. So I read them last night, and I'll get back to you soon: But thank you so much, and I wish you peace and rest and joy in all you do. You always communicate it to us and in your gallery, and you deserve it back! And thanks for your comments too. I know, when one is tired, that commenting can be hard. I'll get in touch soon.)
