I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

You really make those neon light stand out. I can't but I think they were designed for daz and I use them in poser. Cool tats, model and scene, Rod.

Oh yeah! Bring back those crazy 60s!

Those are cool looking lights, and that pile of hair must take FOR-EVAR to render! This needs some old timey sax-blues music to go with it. I'd recommend Vangelis (he did the Bladerunner soundtrack)

A little more than a tatoo, I would say :)

My, my. Looks like she accidentally on purpose forgot her panties and accidentally on purpose pulled her dress a bit too high up! So, hmmm, what are we seeing above her tattoo? Reminds me of the silly nursery rhyme I heard in junior high school - Hickory, dickory dock, 2 mice ran up her sock, the one reached her garter, the other tried harder...(blush beet rad), hickory, dickory dock! You funny fellow. More tantalizing posts on the way? Keep up the good work! :-) I hear the sound of bees on steroids! What's going on?
RodS
Actually she does have panties on... She had no desire to be spanked by the Rendo Police...... Although as I understand it, she rather enjoys a good spanking every now and then..... :-D

She is so adorable! Excellent job with the tattoo.

Great Rendering! and You are finding your way around DAZ Fast I hope you Can Cut you render time! I just can't Understand why a lot of people have these long render times or why they think it is Normal! my Last one(Strange Days) Took the Longest almost 3 hrs but it was 6000px by 4000px with Lights Shaders and all the Props Why did you cut the Original in Half it is now 1,300px × 731px you so it was 2600px by 1462px Why did you pick an odd size?are you setting your render settings to active Viewpoint I only do that when setting up my scene then also I have Draw setting at Texture Shaded at setup then switch to Iray to check how it looks then I set Render settings to custom normally 2000px by 1000px then I adjust the scene in Texture Shaded back to Draw setting Iray For final check then I save the scene Then I Render.

Now those are some lovely tattoos she is showing off . Great to see you are progressing well with DAZ. You are right about the material room in poser is better. For me I do all my material work in the DAZ Octane plugin. You can always precisely pose a light and direction of it (if a spotlight / directional light) via the option to select the light as a camera viewpoint.

I unfortunately have no sense of how DS differs from Poser, at least technically, so I can't appreciate the things you didn't have at your fingertips, compared to Poser. I can, however, respond to the image itself. In my jazz days, I played a lot of clubs---and some pretty seedy bars---so this lighting is very familiar, and spot-on. Dark, with intense shots of light throughout...the little islands of light that typify these interiors. And lots of red, which your image is doused in. (The other hues are also luminous, and fine contrast.) Love the brick and tile too, and the way you handle all the grunge. As for Beau (the model, right?), she's tall yet compact...you did a great job on her legs and on dress and its sensuous black, and its reflections. And on her lonnnnng hair, and her stance. A real sultry piece, in model and interior; really well done, Rod.
