I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Yep, a great example of Vue showing its ability to create what looks like a real natural place.
And yeah, some internet sites have been incredibly slow and error prone the last couple of days for me too. Somebody's doing tests for something nasty I suspect.

superb fall scene and render. I am glad that you have the brains to use it. I do not

Vue? I thought it was a great landscape capture, Rod. Wow, already you have mastered this software bro.pal pal and other places were hacked or fooled with, did not hear the entire story on the news, but several places were messed with including pay pal. And so forgot to wish you a happy birthday my friend. Just have had lots on my shoulders over the last month. But a. Late Happy Birthday. T.N.A., T.N.A.

Hey, no problem - you've had plenty of other things to deal with, brother.. :-D

Very nice work. Some of my first trials with Vue looked a lot like this. Now, try to add your TNA girls to a scene - Poser scenes can be imported. That's a whole new adventure.
RodS
I've tried importing Poser figures in the past - without much success.... I know it can be done; Art has done it quite a few times. But it hasn't worked for me very well. I usually end up exporting things from Poser as .objs, and importing them that way. Not a good way to import human figures, but it works pretty well for props.

Birthday??? When did that happen?! I have Vue 10, I rarely use it, maybe we can challenge each other to excellence...or at least decent mediocrity lol. But this render ain't too shabby at all. and 11 minutes is pretty good!
Um...Happy Birthday! cough
RodS
LOL - I think I've slowly advanced to the decent mediocrity level..... Hopefully I can kick it up a notch to the "damn decent mediocrity" level before the next birthday... :-D That was yesterday.... I've already forgotten it... LOL Thanks, buddy! It was a pretty decent one!

I am Jealous. I have a Titan X which I am beginning to think is broken. I have 12 gig of memory, but nothing of any size renders in under an hour even one light ones, and the screen goes blank at odd times. Mostly went I am playing a game. Of course everything else runs including sound, and I am dead when picture returns or to far gone to recover. I spoke to Nvidia about it and they had me change some setting but no joy on blackouts but renders are a little faster but still hour plus. The then wanted me to try in a different machine like I could do that. I guess I will have to contact the people that built it. I glad you have done well . They did not have that card when I bought my machine. Also Nvidia never did answer if getting another card would help. I an really disappointed in there tech support.

Nice image.

Looks Great!

Awesome Rod! I can't wait to see more! No pressure The NVidea card will help as will as much RAM as you can cram into your machine. On top of that, if you eventually upgrade to a higher level of Vue, render times will lower a bit as well. Now that you're down to 11 mins for this, you can think about more complex and detailed models and materials as well as some more complex atmospheres and render settings.
