Description

Number 16 of 50 built, captured 6/5/16 @ 10:58 am, at the beautiful Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on the vast grounds of the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California. The Lamborghini Murciélago (Spanish: Bat) was a supercar produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 2001 and 2010. Successor to the Diablo and flagship of the automaker's lineup, the Murciélago was introduced as a coupé in 2001. The Murcielago was first available in North America for the 2002 model year. The automaker's first new design in eleven years, the car was also the brand's first new model under the ownership of German parent company Audi, which is owned by Volkswagen. It is styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design from 1998 to 2005. Source: Wikipedia free encyclopedia. To celebrate Lamborghini's 40th anniversary, a run of 50 special-edition Murcielagos was released, featuring specialty detailing, wheels, and exhaust, and a unique blue-green paint. The basic Murcielago features a custom 6.2-liter V12 power plant capable of up to 580 horsepower, carrying the car from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Source: http://pawnstarsthegame.wikia.com

Picking up where I left off in my last visit...Helle says be careful of the sharp edges: It does look like it has sharp edges, but I assume those are less sharp in person. What stands out in this montage is 1) the wonderful angles you use for each shot, showing off the slope and movement of the body, 2) the way the car seems to be rolling into or out of the frame, also showing the visual movement of the body, 3) your cropping, which feels cut off at the top, bringing us right into the car: a great visual choice, and 4) the wonderful sweeping reflections and light on the car, in each shot. Of course, you use your usual covering-all-the-angles-one-can in 4 shots. And you alternate between directions in each shot. For still shots, they move beautifully, and bring out the sweep and forward thrust of this beautiful car. Highly attuned shooting, Harry.
