Description

I have been so very busy with all things in my world. Additional classes, animals, and some health issues. Tonight, I decided I need a little peace and quite. I went out to the cliff that I watch the eagles from. I have been attempting to learn how to photograph the moon. This is what I came up with tonight. It was quite and beautiful. I would have stayed longer, but I did not realize how cold it was!

Looks like you nailed it! The exposure is perfect, and you've captured the surface details beautifully.

I'm hoping I can get out Sunday and/or Monday night for the supermoon.

You NAILED it! NASA would be proud of you!

I fully understand the need to get away for a bit. I'm now working 7 days a week here. and with the holidaze coming up....it's getting crazier.

Nice image Krittermom. NASA said that the moon will be at perigee (closest to the earth) at 6.22 am EST (11.22 GMT) on Monday 14th, and ‘opposite’ the sun for the full moon at 8:52 am EST (1.52pm GMT).

This is the best "amateur" photo I have ever seen of the moon. The color adds to it. One can see the height of the crater rims located at the edge of the moon. This is excellent. Keep up the good job! Love it! :-)

PS- got my computer back from the repair shop Friday. Got a new C drive. Now must get all my software programmed onto it. And hope it all works!
